With respect to the 2016 about N1.08 trillion budget presented to the joint session of the National Assembly by the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari on 22nd Dec 2015, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Femi Fani-Kayode has said Buhari’s administration spends money like a drunken sailor.
PDP: 2016 Budget is a Fraud
The biggest opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party PDP has described the over N1.8 trillion 2016 national budget presented by President Buhari on 22 Dec 2016 as a huge fraud and executive conspiracy planned to mortgage the future of the country.
The party expressed concern over President Buhari’s plan to borrow N2 trillion the biggest in the history of Nigeria as a nation saying it portrays the fact that the Federal Govt. is reckless in its spending and is also involved is deceit and thriving on propaganda .
President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has presented 2016 budget to the joint session of the National Assembly today Tues. 22nd Dec. 2016 in Abuja.
During the presentation, Buhari titled the budget “ Budget of Change” which he said has been made to reflect the true state of the nation’s current economic challenges and realities on ground.
Nnamdi Kanu Charged
The Director Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra, the media outfit for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been charged afresh with Treasonable Felony by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Recall that on 17th of Dec 2015, there was overwhelming jubilation across the eastern states especially in Onitsha by the IPOB members over the unconditional release of the said director by the Federal high court sitting in Abuja.
3 IPOB Supporters confirmed killed, one army senior officer injured.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Ibe Kachukwu has ordered the Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC) and Petroleum Products Pricing and Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) to undertake special supply of fuel products to ensure availability nation-wide during this Christmas period.
This was made known in Abuja in a statement signed by the General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of the NNPC Ohi Alegbe stating that the intervention will guarantee high volume release of fuel into the market to make sure it is available during the yuletide season.
