Photos: One police officer, eight Shiites killed in Kano clash

A clash between the Police and Shiites Islamic group in Kano Nigeria has left 1 people dead. Out of whom is a Police Officer and the remaining 10 are their members early yesterday.
The  group which staged a religious protest demanding for the release of their leader where stopped by the police which aggravated the violence that eventually led to loss of lives.
As the Police throw teargas to disperse them, the retaliated and the situation became chaotic leading the death of some members and a police officer.

Camp leaders, Police Officers, Soldiers, Vigilante groups and other authorities working at Internally Displaced Persons camp in the North, have been accused of raping and sexually exploiting some of the Female IDPs.

Armed robbers numbering about 40 stormed a police station in Ekiti State shooting sporadically, killed an inspector on duty and carted away arms and ammunition from the station, naij reported.

The police station which is located at Ido Ekiti in Ido/Osi local government area of Ekiti state had so many property destroyed by the robbers through the use of dynamites.
According to a detective assigned to the station, the gunmen arrived in the scene at about 7:20pm on Friday 14th Oct , attacked the station shooting uncontrollably.
